Calah Congregation is a liberal, unaffiliated Jewish congregation that embraces everyone, especially interfaith families. We offer you modern services with traditional melodies in a warm, inviting environment.
We are a congregation with a desire to keep the door open for all who wish to enjoy and appreciate our Jewish heritage. Our services emphasize congregational participation with readings and communal prayers in English as well as in Hebrew. Several prayers are also transliterated into English.
Our aim is to keep the costs to our members low and quality of the Synagogue high.

RecommendationsCalah Congregation was the type of synagogue that I had been looking for in Columbia. It has many fun events and opportunities for the congregants to interact. The clergy is always very friendly and welcoming to all, even interfaith and untraditional families. Calah is a real gem in the Columbia Jewish community.
